A Celebrant for all occassions!

As a professional, qualified (The Institute of Professional Celebrants) and highly experienced celebrant, you will receive a valuable, unforgettable and handwritten ceremony.

I will take the time to learn all about your loved one, delving into history, life stories and delivering a ceremony all about them.

We will meet up in person or have a call to discuss the style you'd like, readings/ poems, symbolic gestures, and so much more, whilst creating the right balance of sentiment

Funerals

Choosing a celebrant can be difficult, but know that I am an incredibly versatile celebrant, with the ability to adapt to any family and ceremony style they wish for.

What is a funeral celebrant?

In a nutshell, I will lead the funeral service of your loved one, writing or/and reading a eulogy, giving family members or friends the option to do readings or poems, leading the reflection and committal. Working closely with your funeral directors, I offer guidance prior to the funeral on timings, content and the order of service.

If you would like to include religious elements, prayers or hymns, I am happy to accommodate this.

Advanced planning funerals

Having the option to pre plan your funeral ceremony allows you to make all of the final decisions which honours your final wishes. Doing so, also gives your family that peace of mind and time to grieve rather than planning.

Together, we will meet in person at a place of convenience for you to create a ceremony which can include a eulogy, readings, poems or religious elements including prayers or hymns if you wish.

As a celebrant, I am incredibly sensitive and understanding to the nature of our meeting and will be there to support you with implementing the order of service.

Once we have had the initial meeting to discuss requirements, I will go away to write the first draft of the ceremony script. Once written, we can meet again to discuss any edits, and with the script finalised, I can send this on directly to the funeral directors of your choice.

Naming Ceremony

As a mummy of two, I understand how important it is to show the world (or family and friends) your gorgeous new bundle of joy. Everyone loves a new baby, so why not celebrate them coming into this world with a naming ceremony and since this is led by a celebrant, there is no time frame on celebrating, you choose when you would like to do it.

I hear you ask what is a naming ceremony?

It is a way to formally announce your baby's name surrounded by loved ones. Welcoming a baby with meaning and thoughtfulness in a non religious ceremony at any venue of your choice. As your celebrant, I will write a script reflecting on your family values, aspirations for the baby, include guardians or guide parents pledges to your baby, readings, poems, cultural backgrounds and music if you wish too.

Naming ceremonies can also be to welcome a newly adopted child into your family, or you may want to celebrant two families joining together with respective children.
