Hi, my name is Amy Butler, not only do I plan weddings and events, but I am a highly professional wedding and family celebrant based in Gloucestershire. I live here with my extremely talented musician husband Pete and our handsome vizsla pup Vinnie.
Every Client I work with has their own story, which I like to demonstrate through their event whether that be a wedding, a family celebration, a funeral or a companies corporate event, bringing individual visions to life.
My work isn't a job, it is my absolute passion, I love nothing more than overcoming challenges faced at events, because no event or wedding is ever perfect, that's why you hire a planner and someone to look after your event on the day!
I have worked in Events Management for over ten years, working for extremely well known companies, starting out as a volunteer and working my way up as an assistant, event coordinator, event manager to a position in senior management. My background includes working in sports events, corporate settings, private functions, wakes and most of all my favourite ... weddings.
After working up the career ladder, I decided it was time to fulfil my lifelong goal, launching my own business in 2020, yes you heard it right .... during a pandemic! During the first lockdown, I trained to become a professional celebrant specialising in weddings and funerals.
The great thing about me is that any event type gets me excited to work, my business is truly unique as I can offer services directly for clients or through a business and venue.
