THE LEGAL BIT OF A MARRIAGE
A celebrant led ceremony allows for no restrictions on content or location and can be whatever you want it to be!
You must give notice at your local register office, usually at least 28 days full notice, which will be publicly displayed for that duration.
You will need to attend the register office to register your marriage.
Enjoy your celebrant led ceremony.
Just because a celebrant led ceremony is not 'legal', it does not mean it will not be as important. If anything it will be meaningful and full of love.
THE CONSULTATION PROCESS
The initial consultation is a 'getting to know you' chat where we go over details of your event over a glass of something! During these current circumstances, Facetime and zoom calls have been the way forward.
We will discuss what you are looking for and what you need from me to make your event a success.
This will be your first opportunity to ask any questions and give me an insight into what you are looking for!
I want my clients to like me as person before investing in my services, so this is the prime opportunity to ask me anything you'd like.
Whatever form your LOVE comes in, I am happy to be a part of it, everyone is welcome at Amy Butler Events.
I carry no judgement on any couple I marry or work with.
Are you having what we call a DIY wedding, where you make centrepieces yourself? Do you need help with this? If so, I am more than happy to lend a hand with whatever project you are making.
You will need to supply the materials in order to make your decor, and any materials purchased by myself will be invoiced directly to you.
CODE OF ETHICS
I will respond to enquiries within 48 hours

I will treat my client fairly & honestly
I will ensure that my insurances are up to date
I will disclose event information sourced to my client
I will not give my client information to a third party unless it is for the sole purpose of the event
All payments will be made via BACS transfer once the details have been outlined to you in the terms and conditions.
The booking fee is a non refundable payment for the work that Amy will carry out immediately after your free consultation should you wish to go ahead.
