FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
Amy is the founder and director of Amy Butler Events, with over ten years experience in the events industry. Amy uses her knowledge, passion and expertise to plan unique weddings and events.
At the start of 2020, the naturally creative entrepreneur studied to become a licensed celebrant, adding yet another string to her bow. With a business and event management background, Amy has an eye to create truly creative events and ceremony plans for her clients.
She was born and raised in South East London, during school, college and university Amy worked in sporting challenges, charity fundraising, corporate events and plenty of weddings. Her passion took her overseas at the age of twenty four to work in five star couples hotels, organising their entertainment daily including musicians, local acts, caterer's and themed event nights.
Whilst overseas, Amy met the love of her life, Pete who is an incredibly talented musician from The Midlands, and after a few years travelling they eventually settled back in the UK. And in 2019, they bought a house in Gloucester, a handsome Vizsla and started this business.
A-BE not only stands for Amy Butler Events, but it means the daily going back and forth that we do in the events world, always heading from a-b.
TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
As a qualified Celebrant with the Institute of Professional Celebrants, Amy handwrites and conducts memorable ceremonies for her clients. No two ceremonies will ever be the same as they are specifically designed around you.
The advantage of having a celebrant led ceremony, is the freedom to choose what you would like with no restrictions. Amy will make the process stress free and enjoyable, providing a full script for the service.
Whether you are looking for traditional, fun or way out there crazy, count on Amy, she will make it happen, as nothing is too obscure for her!
During her ceremonies she brings the sentiment of your love, the magic of romance and most of all, everything about you will be brought into the ceremony. Amy can incorporate mini ceremonies, this is where she gets to really use her imagination.
Every client will receive a premium ceremony script keepsake, reminding them of they're truly remarkable ceremony by Amy.
TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
Studying at The University of Greenwich, Amy gained a 2:1 BA Hons degree in Event Management and has over ten years experience in the industry.
Amy can cater to your specific requirements and budget, whilst being on hand 24-7, within reason. It's our passion to create wonderful events for clients and there is nothing that beats a successful event.
Over the years Amy has worked with some big brand companies such as Thomson airline, Skyline Events, Merlin Entertainments, Mercedes and many more.
Event management is the fun part, we see our planning come into action with venues being transformed into a clients dream event.
